made it!

This is my friend Sarah on top of Tynron Doon. A while ago, she said she would like to walk up here, and today we did it. Everywhere was very green, and our way was strewn with wildflowers, almost like the machair. The weather stayed dry until we were back in the village, too. Good views and good company - thank you, Sarah!

I made a start on the gardening after lunch but rain has stopped play - it's that kind of fine drizzly rain which is actually very wet. Great for the garden, though. I'm sure I'll be back out there again later on.
