YOU'RE FIRED!

Every day that the National Museum of the Royal Navy at Hartlepool is open, they have a demonstration of how the old guns were fired, and every time it happens when I'm in hearing range I jump out of my skin and all the seagulls go berserk. However, today I spotted them from across the Marina as they explained to their visitors and prepared, so I was ready, and steadied myself against some railings, and there were hardly any birds about.
