Triacastela to Sarria

The sun and the heat were back this morning, I opted for the shorter mountain route and was rewarded by spectacular views, more cows with bells and donkeys.
My Camino passport was “stamped” in watercolour by an artist operating out of a studio just outside San Xil. The extra.
Slowed down as much as I could to enjoy the day and arrived in Sarria for a very late lunch. The horses arrived and walked past where I was eating so they have obviously recovered from their escape in the Meseta.
The storks nest was on top of a lamp post in Sarria, you can just see a chick. I’m puzzled about why there are three adults.
