This afternoon.

Quiet.
Two minutes later a neighbour came into view.
Then a holiday boat.
Then a tandem on the footpath.
And then it all went quiet again.
And it was just me.

On the way home I walked through the park. The local primary school Sports Day was taking place. Our sons went to the school back in the day. There was plenty of energy, enthusiasm and activity from the hundreds of pupils, and a good parent turnout. Memories were made.
