Windswept Rhyl
FRIDAY
A lovely warm and sunny day with bracing winds on the Irish Sea coast of North Wales. I spent the afternoon exploring the seafront at Rhyl.
I had been warned to expect a run down seaside town but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the walk along the full length of the promenade and a stroll on the beach. I started with a cappuccino and carrot cake, and finished with a cold drink on the terrace at the delightful 1891 cafe (see extra).
