Bat

For the first time my lemon tree is covered with lemons. I'm still not confident it won't eventually die of wet feet like my last one did as it couldn't have been wetter. However at least we have one crop.

I thought I'd better cover it from the coming frosts. When I pulled the shade cloth out this bat was asleep on it. I'm not a fan of them so hope there aren't too many about.

The heating has gone off again so we are resigned to the long weekend without it. We have the wood fire going, all available electric heaters running and wearing lots of layers. 
We are going to Queensland for a week on Wednesday so hopefully can get it fixed by the time we return.
