Two’s Company

Another nature blip, and more nocturnal creatures.
I'm pretty sure these are tawny frogmouths. It's uncommon to see them as they are night birds and sleep in trees during the day, well camouflaged against the trunk.
Graham and Bec are away for the weekend and as we need to make two trips a day to feed the cat and dog we decided to sleep there while our heating is out. I was surprised to spot these in their back yard this morning.
