Down under

Wonderful scenery in the Hope Valley but today the Blip is from 200 meters below the scenery. It shows the Speedwell Cavern, part of a huge underground network of caves which were extensively mined in the 18th and 19th centuries in the search for lead. Very cool, damp and slightly unnerving , especially as we all had to wear hard hats!
