BERLIN DAY 1

A city break to Berlin to celebrate 35 years!! And sooo lucky to be able to.

#first surprise…leaving from London city airport. I said a while ago…I didn’t mind where we went but I wanted to go from City airport!
It was 3 train changes to get there but still only took an hour. There were no crowds…no one at checkin, security it was weird but so calm. Great to see the planes up close…the pilot of this plane even waved!!
#First on the plane…front seats..with one row missing so loads of legroom.
#Haven’t had an airplane meal for years!!Double wine…bonus!!!
#Great flight…easy transfer…really kind taxi driver.
#Staying at Bristol Berlin hotel, where the likes of Kylie, Status Quo and the Rolling Stones have stayed!!!
Time for a stroll…then to find a restaurant…all very expensive…all booked up!!! #Eventually found a Mexican restaurant where the served #the strongest Moijtos in the world!!! Glad I didn’t have double wine on the plane in the end!!!
Glad we found a cheap restaurant as our Takeaway Tea from another cafe was €15 for 2!!!!!! Won’t do that again!!!!
