BERLIN DAY 2

#Got to love a bus tour…
#especially when it includes a boat trip and it serves beer.
We did half the 2 hour tour, soaking up all the changing architecture and then from a different view we saw it from the river.
#lots of modern buildings after 30+ years of construction since the fall of the wall.
#also lots of old next to modern….evidence that no one wins in war.
#after out trip we walked back to the Neptune Fountain and then onto the blue line tour where we saw parts of the artists wall. Back on the bus to ..
#Brandenburg gate with its impressive Quadriga a statue taken by Napoleon but returned after his demise. We had a lovely Italian meal here…great value for such a central location.
#this tower the tallest structure in Germany in the Television Tower commonly called the toothpick!!! It seems to be in most photos somewhere!!
#when we got back to our hotel we had a swim, steam and sauna session…lovely.
