Peregrine Falcon

What a morning! 
Thrilled to discover that my pessimism concerning the falcons' chick was misplaced. I spent an hour by the river today watching this fantastic family. The chick has grown so much since I first saw her on May 20th. You can see her on the ledge, with mum in the box, in the final extra. The third extra shows mum (l) and dad (r) on a ledge nearer the Newcastle side of the river.
