Retro Event

My orienteering club is 50 years old, well it was in 2020. Today we held a much delayed "retro" event doing things like we did in the old days.  No pre-printed maps, you had to draw your own course on a blank map from master map . No electronic devices to record visits, we had to punch a card with a pin pinch. No computer download. The results were stapled to some string in the car park. The man power needed to put on the event was considerably more than in these electronic days.  The Blip is Ali marking up her map. Ali is usually in charge of the computer - registration, results etc etc. With no computers today, she was having a  lovely day out with no job to do.  The jobs were left to the "old folks" who could remember how things were done in the old days.
