Iced gingerbread

A quiet day which included a good catch-up with bestie Gill, a walk during which I got caught in a sudden shower and arrived home needing a complete change of clothes, and baking a couple of gingerbread loaves.

I've also been going through old cassette tapes, which has been very nostalgic. Today's was entitled 'Freuchie's Favourites - Skye '95 edition' which I presume the family was subjected to on the long drive to our summer holiday in Uig that year. It was - still is - an eclectic mix of pop, folk and classical, and listening to it brought back lots of happy memories.

Off to Troon for a few days tomorrow. The forecast isn't great...
