Food miles down

Yesterday was Cromarty Community Market. Everything we bought was from local producers. Venison from Culbokie, by no means for the first time. A huge, free range chicken from just up the hill. Free range bacon and sausages from, er, down the road a bit and just over the bay as seen on Landward. Juiciest strawberries like this one from round the corner. Chutney from Ann’s Jams.

There could have been plants galore but we’d need more pots.

And not a supermarket in sight.
