Sundays are family days, even if that just means Cannon and I are working together and S is running between us - such is life in June. We had a nice day though and got lots done. Blip is of the lovely courtyard roses that smell like sherbet, Cannon has trained them up the walls over the years and they look fantastic. When I was having lunch I saw a pheasant hen walking on the lawn which was very odd, there are old pheasant pens all over the estate but shoots haven’t happened for over 10 years. There must be small pockets of individual pheasants around and about. This evening a surprise visit from friends and Cannon found a vintage games console from 1985, he’s trying to get it working but is very excited by it.
