Pride Parade

This weekend is Härnösand's Pride weekend with various happenings from Friday evening to Sunday.  
Several political parties took part in the picnic and parade, including our Left Party. The picnic was in the park for two hours and a lot of people wandered past our stand and talked with us.  Giving balloons away to children and offering free biscuits and coffee/tea to anyone who asked definitely drew in some people.  The political atmosphere was good  and as well as managing our own stand we wandered around and talked to the Greens and the Center Partyy who also had set up there. Even a group of women from the right wing Moderat Party stopped by to drink our coffee and chat.  This is how politics should be done - we may have (smaller or bigger) differences but we should be able to appreciate each other as interested people who want to make a difference in society.
The weather was very kind to us!
In the late afternoon we were back home sitting outside sharing a little prosecco, and later dinner, with Rose, Lis and Paco.
All-in-all a very pleasant day.
