Happy birthday Rob!

First I made croissants. These came out beautifully and the smell of them baking was divine.
We felt in need of a walk after that and headed up the Borrowdale valley, all the way to the mountain bumblebee meadows. Katie spotted one for us, then the rain started and we headed home. We had a marvellous view of a dipper sitting on the fence.
Just in time for tea! Coffee cake and chocolate brownies, see extra.
Some board games followed, then roast chicken. More games, and a delicious raspberry Pavlova. By this point we were slowing down, but managed a game of Quirkle before bed.
Phew! I think Rob enjoyed it.
