Fun and games

Katie is turning into a keen birdwatcher so we took her and Andrew to Leighton Moss for a look around the reserve. Katie saw her first ever Avocets, and Marsh Harriers. We enjoyed the cafe, and Katie even saw her little niece on a visit with Heron Hill School.
We played some games in the evening including our favourites, Archaeology and Quirkle. The sad faces are for the rather poor board we built this time!
Then Rob and I set off for Heysham at 10.30pm, to go aboard the Sealink ferry Pace for a survey to Dublin and back. Exciting!
