never give up on something you want !!!

... the stripey leaved plant lives !!
some of you may remember my stripey leaved plant that seemed to die slowly after moving to Sefton Park for those of you who don't its here & also here looking a bit better than it does now...

But not being a quitter and also not having a clue what its actually called, so not being able to get another one, I left it on the window sill of the sitting room, hoping that it might come back to life... then one day I realised that although it looked dead, very dead in fact , above its flower pot , it still seemed incredibly thirsty , and so i figured either it had some small weevil type creature living in its flowerpot or it was actually alive..... somewhere deep under its soil... and slowly recuperating back to something of its former glory & today I noticed that there is some new greenness appearing !!!

So me and this stripey plant have had similar years .... but it seems that we're both on the mend & returning to our former glory!!

This little story is a sign that no matter how hopeless the situation looks people its always worth giving things a little but longer & trying that little bit harder and who knows where the journey will take you!

also am revising about livers and pancreas's today so dont think I'll get a more exciting photo opportunity than this !!
