Almost dark

It rains all morning, but brightens up after lunch. We head for the polytunnel, where is sweltering despite the clouds.

Out comes bolting salads. In go squashes and pumpkins and brassicas. And then I start weeding the carrots - a big job.

As the sun sets, I go back to move the chicks (2) and one hen to the smaller henhouse. Tomorrow it will be time to fix up the old hen house and get those birds laying again.
