Diary of an Edinburgher

Flora and fauna at the surgery

JR’s final day at Body Street, and she got the graphs from the body scan showing all the right things, after they went haywire a wee bit recently.

I went along to my physio, who was very pleased with me for doing the exercises every single day, and asked if things had improved. Well, no… I don’t expect magic! He’s now got me on harder exercises, different repetitions, once a day, but only three times a week! Easy peasy. Actually, I’m going to do them every day - I can manage once a day after five weeks of three times.

I then took Archie with me to the surgery - I’ve had a wee hiccup with my prescription ordering - I filled out a form there. There was a wee queue, sitting on the wall - the surgery shuts between 1 and 2pm on Mondays for ‘staff training’. But it was pleasant waiting in the sun. I took photos of the wildlife (Extra).

I then took Archie to the cemetery - he loves it there, but there was a big funeral going on, so I kept him on his lead and we just walked round a bit, well away from the mourners.

I popped in to get some Post-it notes and - oops - two pastries and a marked down box of Almond Magnums fell into my basket.

Archie got lots of compliments from passers by today - could be the new haircut.

We made a BIG decision about holidays next year!
