Hot at last, all day.

Yay! I had a good sleep last night. Feel fine today - just a bit tired, weak and wobbly - no rushing off to the gym for me. And no dog walking either.

JR went off to the gym, and Archie and I sat out in the front garden. Lots of visitors and passers by. Abi and Pip came in for a coffee, and Dougal and Christine popped in too.

JR, as usual, has been busy all day. Supermarket shopping, taking Archie for several shorter walks. I have spent a lot of time listening to my audiobook, sometimes inside the house when it was too hot outside. I kept moving my chair into shade or half shade to try to get the perfect temperature outside. I did have a bit of action when I watered front and back gardens.

The poppies are on the their last legs, but they sure have been splendid - like a bonfire in the corner of the garden.
