At the Velopark

I spent this sunny afternoon at the Torbay Velopark, a 1.5km outdoor closed road circuit, the only one in Devon and Cornwall. My friend Mandy brought her beautiful 36 year old Dawes tandem and with friend Phil flashed round at high speed. I was a bit slower but on my first visit to the circuit since lockdown I was like a child on a summer bike ride. It was very quiet compared with pre lockdown and for a while I was alone, with only a pheasant for company. I must get some multi coloured cycling gear.
