So Scottish

Raining when I got up at 6:30, but by the time I had walked Hetty, visited the shower block and had breakfast it had stopped. Unfortunately the midges had arrived. But then a breeze and it was nice walking weather so off we went. Walked up hill and through forest then back to site for lunch and then off again along a route that ended on the beach. No sand but lots of old rusty chains. There is a fish factory almost on the beach and we thought perhaps they were used many years ago.
So many midges outside the van now I am hoping Hetty can wait until later to go out.
I have two treatments and a wrist band so hopefully I won’t be covered in blotches tomorrow.
May not be posting for a few days as three nights on farm site with no electrics and no phone signal.
