Farewell Tin Tin!

Is it just my generation that loves Tin Tin, Snowy and Captain Haddock? A great Belgian export illustrated here at Brussels Midi Station as we prepared to catch the Eurostar this morning. Can’t say I feel the same about the Smurfs!

Back in London we spent a good 4 hours in the Imperial War Museum, excellent displays and information.
We returned to the calm oasis of St Pancras Renaissance Hotel for a Cream Tea. I had a whole pot of tea to myself. Some things are good to come home for!

On the train home now after an excellent break which has felt longer than the 6 days we’ve been away.
