Horrified!!

I was extremely shocked today when I returned to the field where I found the beautiful orange spider last week, only to find this!!!! 
All completely gone!!
And if that wasn't bad enough, the guy ploughing hadn't even left a  margin at the edge of the field - just trying to look at the hedge I nearly fell and twisted my ankle multiple times!!
Words just fail me!
