Fringe

Fringed loosestrife, Lysimachia ciliata, the fringed loostrife, is a species of flowering plant. You can't tell, but it is yellow with a pink circle and inside that a white circle. 

This morning was great. I got to virtually meet with three teams from the climate finance class and I was told that they'd been doing surveys and found that the one thing absolutely everyone learned was the link between risk and return :-)

I had so many birds in my garden including a woodpecker sitting in the V of Fireglow. The bee continues to enjoy the heucheras. The blue of the hydrangea ... 

Poland signed a $700 million contract with Ukraine to sell more than 50 155mm Krab self-propelled howitzers. Poland already delivered 18 Krab guns to Ukraine from its reserves. The deliveries are expected to begin this year and be complete in 2023. The gun was designed by merging the South Korean K9 Thunder chassis with a British AS-90M Braveheart turret. Ukraine is paying for part and the EU is paying for part. 

Spain plans to send 40 Leopard A4 tanks to Ukraine bought from Germany in 1995. Spain is finalizing the delivery of Shorad Aspide anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine. 

Have you heard of Monster Trucks or other major vehicle modifications? The Ukrainian military appears to have converted a Soviet-era sedan into a machine gun-toting vehicle. It has off-road tires and a bull bar up front. 

it was reported that the Ukrainian military turned donated Fiat Fullback 4×4 pickup trucks into mobile surface-to-air missile systems.

Lithuania has opened a cultural center for displaced Ukrainians. The center will offer education, career, and psychological services, as well as recreation and child care.
