A yellow bird went to my window and stared in, seeming to try to find out how to get in. Fortunately for me the two of them were in Fireglow just long enough for me to get a picture. 

The poor woman who had an accident is feeling a bit better. She has high pain tolerance. Hopefullyl the government will arrange a seat on an airplane that will give her ankle more room. Hopefully, with treatment, she will have no poor long term effects. Unfortunately, we have no idea how soon she needs to see a specialist and Urgent Care offered no opinion on that. 

The EU is determined that Russia should help pay for damages. They are getting closer to a plan on how to use frozen Russian assets. They have 200 billion euros in the EU that belong to the Russian central bank and 20 billion euros in assets that belong to Russian private individuals. It is legally complex but it will be easier to do it with the central bank money. 

The US will produce more Patriot air defense systems and give five more to Ukraine this year. The one system Russia managed to damage is already fully back online.
