All The Lonely People

We've had a lot more rain and tonight it's quite chilly at 13c. Really feels good to actually be cold!

Jake was a bit off colour this morning and I couldn't figure out what was wrong, he didn't want to get up, which is really unusual for him. Maybe it's just the colder weather, or maybe it's more. He's been strange all day just not himself. He seems a little brighter tonight but we'll see how he is in the morning and maybe go to the vet for a check.

He managed to spark up at the word 'walk' this morning so we went out. It had rained quite a lot in the night and there were plenty of big puddles. Love those reflections in puddles, but in the end none of those shots worked out.

One of the beautiful black swans was just a little bit too far away for a good shot. The pond is really in bad shape after the hot summer and the swans and the ducks stay way over the other side where the water is clear, the rest of it is covered with green algae at the moment.

In despair as Jake headed me towards his favourite big tree I took a few shots of the messages carved into its trunk. Wasn't until later that I noticed the lonely man in the background.
