Saturday

Wildflowers galore.

A trip to Ripley farmers market was the order of the day.  Today there were more stalls and the event was on for longer with entertainment.  We aimed to get there for between 10 and 10.30 so that we could buy what we wanted , walk Ruby and go back for midday to meet both Josh and Rebecca.

There had been an accident on the A3 which delayed our timings.  One of the stalls sell homemade Indian food and having tried their samosas in the past we had decided to get some curry bits for our dinner.  So that was our first port of call as they sell out of their produce incredibly quickly. I was so pleased that we managed to buy their last chicken curry, butter chicken and dhall along with samosas.  We have now added to their mailing list so they will send out menus for us to pre order if we wish.

A quick wander around , watching some gentlemen in snazzy waistcoats sing acapella, then we took Ruby for a run before meeting back up with the others.  Lots of wildflowers in the field and woods, extra included.

The Morris dancers were the next lot of entertainment. Great fun.  We all enjoyed a sausage in a roll, a few more purchases before going our separate ways to head home.

The curry was delicious so we will order again at another time.
