A Perfect Summer Afternoon

First of the really good days of weather we have forecast this week.  We spent much of the day in the garden, tidying up and then resting in the pleasant weather.  Even better to indulge in some strawberries and cream while listening to the Test match Special team describing a most extraordinary period of cricket as Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes went about demolishing New Zealand's bowlers in the period after tea.  

A most impressive test match with many records being bettered by the teams.  I must admit I didn't expect an England victory after New Zealand compiled 553 runs in the first innings.
