Poppy fields

So this evening B and I took another trip to see the Poppy fields. We wanted to see them at sunset. It was a beautiful evening, sunshine and an excellent sunset. In this photo I was standing still taking photos and this deer came up very close to me and then leaped off and across the Poppy field. Then we drove on a bit further to the other Poppy field and saw a barn owl in flight which was an added bonus. Before visiting the Poppy fields we called in at Stow on the wold to see the church doorway flanked by two ancient trees.
