I had to drive M to the garage to pick up his car after its annual MOT so l drove on to Middleton House hoping l might see a meadow of wild flowers. Alas there were none but l rather liked this flower head, l am not sure whether it is yet to open or is spent - nor what kind of flower it is.
The Met office has issued a heat warning for the next few days with temperatures being up in the late 20s/early 30s, l am looking after youngest grandchild who has chicken pox so it will be a 'lazy' one.
