The heat is on

Mr B’s birthday is sort of postponed until Sunday when we will all have more time to spoil him and no one will have a big exam tomorrow.

Meanwhile, it was very hot. The hens were flagging, so we tried to dunk them in cold water, but that wasn’t a popular move. They have also taken against the outside fan. Friday is set to be above 40, so we have a provisional plan to install the hens in the downstairs bathroom (washable floors) to give them a heat-stress averting break in the hottest part of the day.

Meanwhile, work. Two tricky negotiations, one successful conclusion, one still not looking good.

At the end of the day CarbBoy realised his head is irritated by his (not) long hair, and he needed a haircut. Anything for ExamBoy.
