Unwell

Although he doesn't look it! 

Still had a temperature this morning, so it was no school and it's barely come down all day. He is fine in himself - he wanted to do Joe Wicks this morning, we settled for a dog walk (very happy to go out).  He's been pottering all day with me as I worked through a deliberately dull set of jobs to (hopefully) make him think school is more interesting than a day at home. 

Youngest was fantastic about going to school without his brother, although his teacher said it was very strange only having one of the boys in her class today. 

My list of dull jobs included calling the passport office to find out what is happening to one of our passports that needs re-issuing - the application was submitted early March, they told me today we would be lucky to get it back by early August!  

Today I'm grateful for: 
A lovely walk with the eldest
Being able to drop things and look after a (not very) poorly boy 
Park with the youngest and some of his friends while the eldest was at Beavers
