Feed Me!

Two young magpies were following their parent around the lawn this morning (extra). Every time the parent found a morsel the youngsters frantically ran around to the front and begged for food. Most of the time the parent ignored these pleas, ate the morsel, and pointedly turned her/his back on the young birds.  Every now and again parent succumbed to the begging.
The same was happening further up the lawn with the other parent bird and two more fledglings.
