Contactless payment

Nightmare drive to Kate's this morning as the M6 was shut at the M55 so even the queues of traffic through Preston were awful. A 30 min journey took 80 mins. 
We took the bus to St Anne's and then walked to Lytham. It was the debut of my bus pass and it was fab. We bought sandwiches for lunch then sat on the prom eating them and people watching. We stopped for coffee and egg custard at Fairhaven in the refurbished cafe. Walking through Lowther Gardens Kate pointed out that you can pay for the toilet with your card!! So 2022, but contactless for 40p! I wonder what gets written on the bank statement. 
A lovely walk up and down Lytham high st looking in the shops then the bus back. I had tea with Kate then came home a much better journey home. 
Thankfully it has been overcast and a cool breeze and not the high heat that they've had down south.
