Please meet..

.. 'Bird'. This is how he likes to be referred to. I rescued him from one of the shelves of TK Max many years ago, and for which he is most grateful. He is very philosophical and I often find myself channeling his insights into the human (and bird) condition. How he came by his rather exotic waistcoat is a most fascinating tale.
Poor thing has been in storage for very nearly two years, and was beside himself with joy at being able to see us and daylight once again.
So much to sort out indoors, so didn't venture out into the heat.
The other week silage, now it's those round hay bales and lots of farm machinery charging up and down the lane.
