Whilst in Devon..

Back across the Irish Sea.

This was our ninth trip over to Ireland to see family. It was always a four and a half hour crossing. This time we somehow managed to book Irish Ferries 'Swift'. Did the crossing of the Irish Sea in just over two hours. Didn't realise it was a catamaran that can approach speeds of nearly 40 mph. Carries up to 220 cars. And is water-jet propelled. Quit a sight and sound experience looking out the back!
We're in Bangor now and will head home tomorrow after quite an eventful and enjoyable week!
This was probably the last time we do this. I'm getting on a bit and driving 1300 miles is getting to be a bit of a strain!
