Please Mr Postman
There were several important stalwarts that used to make up an English village - a church, a pub, a shop/post office and, if enough children, a school. Sadly lots of these wonderful old villages have been hollowed out with just the ancient church and the pub remaining. This post box, almost completely taken over by the hedge, serves as the post office now. It is still used with any mail being collected each day at 4:50 during the week and 12:45 on a Saturday.
