Strawberry Sales

Today we drove north on a back road through lovely farm country until we came to a farm which sold freshly picked strawberries (marked on the map).  A friend had told us they were delicious and she was correct - they are incredibly sweet!  We bought two boxes and we have been enjoying them since returning home.  In addition, we found some rhubarb for sale at another farm stand and mixed some with a few strawberries to make a strawberry-rhubarb cobbler which we had for dessert at dinnertime.
I think the berries will continue to disappear at breakfast tomorrow!
