The Tree Surgeons~

A few days ago Richard noticed that this big spruce tree had broken off half way down, and had fallen on top of what remained of another dead tree ! This was a very lucky situation....otherwise it would have hit, and probably demolished, the woodshed for the Chalet Cabin!!! That would have meant a great deal of work!
So instead, the guys figured out if they attached a rope between the existing trees on either side, then pulled, it would come free and not hit the woodshed! It was pretty amazing watching them sort things out! Finally there was success without any disasters!

Cold and windy, but bright today! apparently it's going down to -6 tonight.....thank god i have a furnace of a man beside me :)
