Pitmedden Garden

We are spending the week visiting the Gardens of the Highlands - Fyvie Castle this morning and Pitmedden this afternoon. Pitmedden was particularly interesting because it is a formal garden but part of it was replanted 18 months ago with a modern casual eco-friendly design. It was full of bumblebees despite 11 degrees and 20 mph winds gusting 40 mph. I will put on more layers tomorrow. It was difficult to imagine when we were packing in 32 degrees in London.
