Salad Days

Despite the change in weather - grey and dull all day - it still seemed like salad time of year. This is only one of dozens of dishes I prepared today for all of us - the traditional bit. It's amazing how filling a salad can be, but we all had room for home-made trifle, too. 

Finished knitting the Christmas tree today and am now knitting its red pot. Not particularly photogenic at this stage, so I'll save that for later. My Extra is tonight's sunset - or the colourful sky as viewed from the back garden here.
