Real Alcazar

Today we visited Real Alcazar which is a royal palace with beautiful gardens.

We had a wonder around the palace grounds and the gardens. The building is so beautiful and designed to keep cool which was much needed in yesterdays heat. The gardens are huge we didn’t manage to walk around them all because it was just too hot, however they did have a cafe that serves beer so we stopped to cool down.

After the palace we had a wonder around the Jewish quarter which is all narrow cobbled streets where you can easily get lost. We then went to a bar called El Rinconcillo which has been open since 1760, it was amazing inside and you just stand at the bar and order drinks and tapas and they write your bill on the bar in chalk. We had some lovely cheese while we had a drink.

Tonight as it’s the last night we decided to go to a couple of rooftop bars, the first one overlooks the Cathedral and the other overlooks Metropol Parasol. Lovely way to end our trip to Seville.
