Gran Canaria

So today was our first full day not counting yesterday as we didn’t arrive at the hotel until just before midnight.

Seeing the hotel in day light was lovely it’s so nice, 3 pools, lots of bars and a couple of restaurants.

We had a walk down to the sand dunes this morning we’ve been told to be careful if we go walking over them as lots of nudists sunbathe in between the dunes!

The rest of the day was spent by the pool doing nothing.

After dinner we decided to go for a walk and came across a beautiful modern Catholic Church which had a Sunday service in progression. We crept in and lit a candle for our Queen.

We then went to a rooftop bar which I found from tripadivsor as the number 1 bar, it was lovely but I took recommendations from the bar man for my cocktail and really didn’t like it (where’s Lou when you need her) we only got in by chance as you have to book but someone had cancelled. We have booked for later on in the holiday as it was really lovely.
