two birds...

...sitting in a tree

on a windy - cloudy - overcast day...

it was one of those moments - i had to act very quickly - if i wanted to get them - in fact, i'm surprised i did get them before they flew off - because it was extremely windy - and they could barely hold onto the little branch of the tree - plus i wasn't necessarily being the most quiet in that wind either - i wanted my shot - what i deemed my once-in-a-lifetime shot - of 2 birds - of the same species - sitting together in a tree... how often am i gonna have that opportunity - boo!

so grab it - go for it - and know that even though the one - stupid male, figures doesn't it? - isn't looking at the camera - it's alright - the shot happened - maybe it's flitting in the wind a bit, but hey - 2 birds for the price of one - makes for...
