Fallen

Walking along the grass verge this morning there were loads of these conkers on the ground, so many in fact I couldn’t see any still on the branches. All I could see was some sort of fungus attacking the leaves.
Initial investigation seems to suggest the fungus is not all that harmful to the tree, but I guess time will tell.
