Stinking roger

Sorry to any Rogers reading this….

Black horehound, Ballota negra. I saw this a few days ago and made a mental note for when I was walking this way again with the dogs.

Common wildflower on waste ground and roadside verges and due to its pungent rotten smell it has earned the nickname Stinking roger in some places :-)
