Evening rose

A day of no pictures, so I snapped a rose in the garden this evening.  We rescued this from the front garden when we moved in and it was in a bit of a sorry state (rose, and front garden).  It has thrived since and I love seeing it happy and cheery from the kitchen window. 

Husband was working in the office today, so a quiet day alone with the dog.  He had a good run at lunch time, which I also needed after a morning sat in front of the computer.  

Read with the boys in the garden after school, which we all loved. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Up early for some pilates before the boys were awake 
Reading in the garden after school 
A recent run of early nights (and a good book), which is putting everyone in a good place
